فيسبوك يخضع لتحقيق جنائي بعد الفضيحة الرقمية

بدأ محققون فيدراليون يجرون تحقيقا جنائيا بشأن إبرام موقع "فيسبوك" صفقات مع عدد من عمالقة التكنولوجيا، تتيح لهم أن يصلوا إلى بيانات المستخدمين دون إذنهم.

وبحسب موقع "بزنس إنسايدر"، فإن الصفقات جرى إبرامها بين المارد الأزرق ومنصات تقنية أخرى مثل "أبل" و"أمازون" و"مايكروسوفت"، ويشتبه المحققون في أن يكون أكبر موقع للتواصل الاجتماعي قد سمح لها بالوصول إلى بيانات المستخدمين الشخصية دون علمهم.

وأضاف المصدر، أن هذه البيانات الحساسة التي تقاسمها "فيسبوك" مع شركات التقنية الأخرى، تشمل كلا من لائحة الأصدقاء وبيانات الاتصال، فضلا عن الرسائل الخاصة.

وأوردت "نيويورك تايمز"، أن هيئة محلفين في نيويورك طلبت معلومات بشأن الصفقات من شركات تقنية يشتبه في تورطها في الواقعة التي وصفتها وسائل إعلام أميركية بـ"الفضيحة الرقمية".

وأكد متحدث باسم "فيسبوك"، أن الشركة تتعاون مع المحققين بجدية، كما أنها قدمت شهادة بشأن القضية وأجابت عن الأسئلة التي تم طرحها.

وتأتي الأنباء بشأن هذا التحقيق الجنائي، فيما يحاول "فيسبوك" أن يلملم فضيحة تسريب البيانات لشركة "كامبردج أناليتكا"، التي أدت إلى خسارته مليارات الدولارات من قيمته السوقية.

وهبطت أسهم "فيسبوك" بـ1.5 بالمئة، الأربعاء، جراء العطل المفاجئ الذي عرقل دخول المستخدمين إلى حساباتهم لمدة طويلة في عدد من دول العالم.
